After being released by the WWE, Kevin Patrick, real name Kevin Egan, quickly found work.

Patrick was let go last month, marking a change in the WWE announce team. Patrick replaced Jimmy Smith as WWE Raw’s lead announcer a few years ago. WWE had high hopes for Patrick, so they changed up the announce teams last August by pairing him with Michael Cole, believing that working alongside Cole would help him grow as a broadcaster.

WWE later changed plans for the SmackDown announce team in early January after Cole was removed from SmackDown, focusing solely on Raw to give Patrick a chance to prove himself, but he was later removed and released.

Patrick joined the company in March 2021 and worked as a backstage correspondent for Monday Night Raw, a play-by-play commentator for WWE Main Event, and the host of Raw Talk.

Major League Soccer announced in a press release that Patrick will be joining MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, where he will host MLS 360, a highly lucrative job.

He’ll be joined by Sacha Kljestan, Kaylyn Kyle, and Bradley Wright-Phillips.
