Top MLW star Mads Krule Krugger spoke with Fightful on a number of topics, including how WWE star and new Bloodline member Jacob Fatu selected him as his final opponent in MLW.
Krugger said, “He did (pick me to be his last opponent) because he enjoyed it so much the first time around. It’s one of those things, you go back and look at it, I didn’t realize how great the work we were doing together was until I went back and looked at it and went, ‘Wow, this was a great series of matches that we had’ and the story that we told was really good. In the moment, you’re just focused on that and getting it done and making sure you’re doing it the right way. When you go back and look at it, ‘Oh, I like that too.’ He appreciated it as well. It was a great honor that he would put my name out there and say, ‘That’s the guy I want to leave (going out) on my back.’”
