Released WWE Star Returns To In-Ring Action (Photos)

Mara Sadé, formerly known as Jakara Jackson in WWE, has officially returned to in-ring competition following her release earlier this year.

Sadé made her independent wrestling debut on June 27 at a 4th Rope Wrestling event in Paris, France, marking her first match since being released as part of WWE’s May 2 talent cuts. Teaming with Tiara James, Sadé scored a victory over JGU & Rhio in tag team action.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) following the event, Sadé celebrated her return to the ring and revealed that she also created her new entrance music.

“Just debuted on the Indy scene in Paris AND my official theme song ‘Find yoself’ by yours trulyyy,” she wrote.

Sadé originally signed with WWE in 2021 and was a fixture in NXT as part of the Meta-Four stable alongside Lash Legend, Oro Mensah, and Noam Dar. Her final televised appearance came at NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend, where she and Legend competed in a No. 1 contender’s four-way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Her final WWE match occurred at WWE World during the WrestleMania 41 fan convention.

Now performing under her new ring name, Mara Sadé is embracing the next chapter of her career with fresh momentum and creative freedom.
