The inaugural NJPW World Television Champion is Zack Sabre Jr.
ZSJ defeated Ren Narita by submission in the finals of the NJPW World Television Title Tournament at Wednesday’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event.
ZSJ was revealed as the newest member of TMDK after the match when the group came to the ring to offer him a spot. He accepted the offer from Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls and has now joined the four-man faction with Bad Dude Tito.
Sabre Jr. won the tournament by defeating Alex Zayne, David Finlay, EVIL, and Narita. Narita also defeated Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, and Sanada in the tournament.
