AEW is raising the stakes for its historic Grand Slam Mexico event this Wednesday night, as company president Tony Khan has officially announced a blockbuster four-way match featuring some of the world’s most dynamic high-flyers.
Dubbed the “4 Million Pesos High Flying 4-Way,” the bout will pit Ricochet, Lio Rush, Mascara Dorada, and Hologram against each other with a massive prize on the line: four million Mexican pesos—equivalent to approximately $215,000 USD. The winner walks away with both bragging rights and a huge payday.
The event takes place at the legendary Arena México, the spiritual home of CMLL (Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre) and widely considered one of the most iconic venues in Lucha Libre history. AEW’s growing partnership with CMLL will be on full display throughout the show, with talent from both promotions featured in high-profile matches.
