The main event of Wednesday nightโ€™s post-AEW Dynasty episode of Dynamite delivered a wild conclusion as The Death Riders (AEW World Trios Champions Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) squared off against Samoa Joe and HOOK, now collectively known as The Opps, in a physically intense tag team showdown.

Joe and HOOK secured a hard-fought victory over the reigning champions. However, the celebration was cut short when Marina Shafir made a surprise appearance, targeting Joeโ€™s knee with a steel chair. Castagnoli then capitalized on the chaos by delivering a devastating Neutralizer to HOOK onto a chair in the center of the ring.

As The Death Riders exited the ring, Joe recovered and grabbed a microphone to deliver a fiery message. Calling Castagnoli and Yuta โ€œcowardly sons of b***hes,โ€ the veteran made it clear that the fight was far from over, declaring that he and HOOK were coming for the AEW World Trios Titles.

Following the broadcast, the action continued in front of the live crowd. Max Caster made an unannounced appearance and issued an impromptu challenge to Samoa Joe, referring to it as the โ€œMax Caster Open Challengeโ€ and daring Joe to prove himself against โ€œthe best wrestler alive.โ€ Joe responded in dominant fashion, quickly dropping Caster with consecutive Muscle Busters before leaving him laid out in the ring.

With tensions escalating and momentum building, itโ€™s clear that the path to the AEW World Trios Titles has become more volatile than ever.
