Adam Page Says AEW Has Recaptured Its Early Magic Ahead Of All In: Texas

AEW star โ€œHangmanโ€ Adam Page recently spoke with SHAK Wrestling ahead of his Texas Death Match against Jon Moxley at the upcoming AEW All In: Texas pay-per-view event, where he will headline in pursuit of the AEW World Championship.

Page opened up about AEW’s current momentum, comparing it to the companyโ€™s early days:

โ€œIt very much does feel like, for me personally, in my experience week-to-week, a lot of the same magic of those first weeks and months of AEW TV. The sense of wanting to work together for a common goal, to make something good, exciting, new, fun and fresh. The trajectory has felt upwards.โ€

He also reflected on the personal journey that has brought him back to the main event scene:

โ€œI did not expect to be in this position, as hard as I tried for 3 years, and I hadnโ€™t gotten here. This is our biggest show in the U.S ever and Iโ€™ll be headlining it, and I intend to win the (AEW) World Championship at it. So, thatโ€™s the kinda thing Iโ€™ve tried to work towards for 3 years since I lost the Championship, and to be honest there were a lot of times that I kinda thought that was it for me as far these big opportunities, these big moments.โ€

โ€œA lot of that boils down to me, who I was, who I was deciding to be, and that kinda attitude I had did not lead me to these opportunities.โ€

AEW All In: Texas is set to take place on Saturday, July 12 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The event is already on pace to break AEWโ€™s U.S. ticket sales records, with Page and Moxleyโ€™s brutal Texas Death Match shaping up to be one of the nightโ€™s marquee showdowns.
