AJPW Champion Carnival 2023 Night 5 Results (4/22/2023)

On April 22nd, All Japan Pro-Wresting headed to the Nishikawa Multipurpose Hall in Niigata City, Japan as they presented night 5 of the Champion Carnival 2023 Tournament in front of a vocal crowd.

In the main event, Kento Miyahara defeated Yoshitatsu in a Block A match to bring his point total to 6. Miyahara is currently tied with T-Hawk, who shocked the crowd by defeating Cyrus, for second place.

Ryuki Honda scored a victory over Yuma Aoyagi to hold his place in the top spot of Block A with 8 pts.

In Block B action, Rei Saito suffered his first defeat as he submitted to a Shotaro Ashino ankle lock.

Rei Saito, Suwama and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Manabu Soya are all tied for first place in Block B with 6 pts.

  • Champion Carnival 2023 Block B Match: Shotaro Ashino (4 pts) defeated Rei Satio (6 pts) via ankle lock submission.
