Since their respective moves to the WWE main roster, NXT veterans Giulia and Jordynne Grace have experienced a very stop-and-start trajectory.
In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, a fan asked Sean Ross Sapp about how the two wrestlers have been booked on the main roster and whether their earlier match in NXT influenced their current creative direction, or lack thereof.
According to Sapp, NXT Executive Producer Shawn Michaels was reportedly dissatisfied with Giulia and Grace’s match, which occurred on the May 6, 2025 edition of NXT TV. However, Sapp indicated that he does not know whether Michaels’ unhappiness with their match has affected their main-roster booking. He also mentioned that if Triple H and/or TKO wanted the wrestlers to appear on SmackDown, they would be included on the show.
Sapp noted that Grace took a pay cut by signing with WWE and stepped away from her other outside ventures, while Giulia is currently earning more money than ever in her career since joining WWE.
Giulia last appeared on SmackDown on July 31, where she lost a SummerSlam qualifying match to Lash Legend in just two minutes. In the meantime, Grace has not participated in a televised match on SmackDown since April 17. Her last televised victory was on WWE Main Event on May 29, where she defeated Kiana James. Grace has not wrestled for WWE TV since June, when she lost a Main Event match against James.
