Pro wrestling veteran Masha Slamovich made her Major League Wrestling (MLW) debut at the Fightland taping this past weekend. She participated in a match for the Fightland special and also began a feud with Shotzi Blackheart.
According to PWInsider.com, Slamovich has signed a contract with MLW. The report indicates that she signed with the company in early July, with plans to align her with CONTRA and set up her feud with Blackheart. Her debut is scheduled to air in two weeks on MLW Fusion.
The report also questions whether Slamovich was incorporated into any plans originally intended for Tessa Blanchard, who was announced for the taping but was later pulled from the event. Given that Slamovich signed in July, it appears that her creative direction is independent of the plans that were made for Blanchard.
MLW did not respond to requests for comment from the publication regarding this matter. Slamovich is a former TNA Knockouts World Champion, her TNA contract reportedly expired in October 2025, weeks after former partner AKIRA publicly accused her of domestic abuse. She was subsequently removed from TNA’s online roster in December. Slamovich later issued a statement apologising for her actions and describing the relationship as mutually destructive.
