NJPW held its Resurgence event this past Saturday, and during the show, Gabe Kidd defeated top AEW star Eddie Kingston to become the new NJPW Strong Openweight Champion. Kidd spoke with the company immediately following the show on a number of topics, including winning the championship and defending it against anyone.
