Hiroshi Tanahashi Officially Replaces Will Ospreay At Impact x NJPW Multiverse United

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey has been made official for the IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United show.

Mike Bailey was originally scheduled to face Will Ospreay at Multiverse United on March 30th but Ospreay had suffered a shoulder injury during his New Japan Cup 2023 match with Mark Davis. The injury will prevent Ospreay from participating at Multiverse United.

After the conclusion of the New Japan Cup 2023, Tanahashi had offered to take Ospreay’s spot against Mike Bailey during a press conference and the new match was made official a short time afterwards.
