Top indie star Michael Oku spoke with Post Wrestling about several topics, including how he and his partner, Amira, are not currently under contract with any company, despite making several appearances for AEW and ROH over the past year.
Oku said, โYeah, no, thatโs correct. Weโre not, weโre not under contract. So which is why itโs very cool that again, weโve been brought down, many times by AEW and weโve worked with them, but yeah, not, not contracted, but weโll have a visa.โ
On if he would move to the U.S.:
โThe Will Ospreay weekly flight, itinerary, itโs, I think thatโs an aspect of Will Ospreay that no one can truly appreciate beyond wrestlers. The amount of time in the air this man is spending, on a weekly basis. Thatโs arguably the worst part of traveling abroad and going overseas. Itโs just those flights. So for him to be doing that pretty much weekly is, is I donโt know how to do it. So when it comes to myself and Amira, I think weโve spoken about it, that weโre open to, to uprooting if, if it needs be, weโre not like, stuck in our in our heads being like, we need to stay here, we need to stay in the UK. So yeah, weโre open to to even living in the US if if thatโs whatโs needed.โ
