The title defense of IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley, scheduled for June 9 at the NJPW Dominion—one of the biggest events of the promotion—became increasingly interesting.
Moxley will defend his title against EVIL in a Lumberjack Match. Moxley recently defeated Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Double Or Noting and Rocky Romero on last Wednesday’s Dynamite.
The show will feature the Best of Super Juniors 31 Finals. Other matches on the card include NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi defending against HENARE, NJPW World TV Champion Jeff Cobb defending against Tomohiro Ishii, Provisional KOPW 2024 Champion Yuya Uemura defending against Great-O-Khan, and an IWGP Tag Team & NJPW Strong Tag Team title elimination match with KENTA & Chase Owens vs. El Phantasmo & Hikuleo vs. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI vs. Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste.
