NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champion Minoru Suzuki,Toru Yano & Great O Khan vs. NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champion El Desperado,Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yoh

Before the bell Minoru Suzuki & Great O Khan hit each other then El Desperado & Suzuki, doing some standing switches then they switched to forearms. Toru Yano didn’t want to tag in so Suzuki chop him across the chest. Yoh & O Khan lock up and O Khan hit his Mongolian Chops. O Khan hit a head capture suplex and then goes for a pin but Hiroshi Tanahashi made the save. Tanahashi tag in and he traded offence with O Khan & hits a 2nd rope summersault slam for a near fall. O Khan Yano & Suzuki kept arguing.

Yano tags in & O Khan & Suzuki began shoving each other on the floor, and they brawled into the crowd. Tanahashi hit a dragon screw on Yano, then Desperado wanted to hit his finisher on Yano but Yoh stops him, because Yoh wanted to hit his finisher now they were fighting then Yano got a flash roll up on Tanahashi for the win.

United Empire (Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Francesco Akira,Jeff Cobb & Aaron Henare) vs. House Of Torture (Evil,Yujiro Takahashi & Sho)

House Of Torture attacks United Empire at the bell, with everyone fighting on the floor. Sho & Francesco Akira battled to start and House Of Torture works Akira over. Aaron Henare made the hot tag and he works over Yujiro Takahashi in a corner. Jeff Cobb enters & Sho tried to give him an Irish whip but Cobb didn’t budge. Sho went for a spear and he just bounced off Cobb with the help of his teammates, Sho hits a spear and this time Cobb went down.

Dick Togo hops in the ring and chokes Cobb with his wire. Sho charges at Cobb, but Cobb caught him and hits Tour Of The Islands on Sho while Togo was still on Cobb’s back to get the win.

Los Ingobernables De Japon (KOPW 2023 Champion Shingo Takagi,Bushi & Tetsuya Naito) vs. Just 3 Guys (Taichi,Douki & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

Tetsuya Naito & Douki starts this match as Naito tugs at the mask. Shingo Takagi enters and hits a shoulder tackle on Douki and LIJ dominated early. Taichi tags in and immediately traded chops and kicks with Takagi. Taichi drops Takagi with a clothesline. Takagi hits a Death Valley Driver on Yoshinobu Kanemaru.

Bushi enters and hits a top rope missile dropkick. Bushi hits a lung blower on Kanemaru for a near fall. Kanemaru hits a dropkick on Bushi’s left knee, and he applied the Figure 4 on Bushi. Douki hits a top rope double stomp on Bushi’s chest. Kanemaru kept the Figure 4 on Bushi taps out.

Winners By Submission: Just 3 Guys (9:20)

After the match Douki kept the Douki Choky on Naito then once he lets go he challenges Naito to a match.

6 Man Tag Team Match
Bullet Club (Strong Openweight Champion Kenta,El Phantasmo & David Finlay) vs. Guerrillas Of Density (NEVER Openweight Champion Tama Tonga & Hikuleo) & Master Wato

David Finlay & Tama Tonga starts this match off with an lockup then Hikuleo enters and hit some big boots on Bullet Club. Finlay works over Master Wato. El Phantasmo went to tag in but he argued more with Finlay so Finlay slaps ELP to tag him in. Tonga enters and he hits a Stinger Splash.

ELP hits Sudden Death on Tonga. Wato hits a double arm slam on ELP for a near fall. Wato hits a top rope dive to the floor and he was fired up but back in the ring, Phantasmo caught Wato with Sudden Death then CRII for the win.

After the match Finlay nails Tama Tonga with the NEVER Openweight Title after the bell. Kenta grabs his Strong Openweight Title and hits Hikuleo with it.

Phantasmo tried to pull Finlay off of Tama Tonga. Finlay hit Phantasmo with a forearm shot, and they started fighting as Kenta & Gedo tried to separate them. Phantasmo yanks off his elbow pads and whips them at Finlay. Suddenly, Kenta picks up Phantasmo and hits Go 2 Sleep on ELP then Finlay picks up the shillelagh and went to use it but Taiji Ishimori ran into the ring and stops Finlay but Ishimori then hit a low blow on Phantasmo. Finlay then nails Phantasmo over the top of the head with the shillelagh as his arms were being held by the Bullet Club. Finlay stood over the prone Phantasmo and told him that he f*cked with the wrong guy.

A commercial aired for the 33rd annual G1 Climax which will begin July 15th and wrap up August 13th.

Women’s Title Triple Threat Match
Mercedes Mone (c) vs. AZM vs. Hazuki

We get some quick rollups at the bell and a standoff of all 3 then Hazuki hit a senton on Mercedes Mone. AZM hits a top rope double stomp on Mone, sending her to the floor to recover. Hazuki dove onto Mone then AZM hit a top rope dive onto both.

In the ring AZM hits a top rope double stomp on Hazuki. Mone locks in a crossface on both opponents but they escaped and put her in a crossface. Hazuki put AZM in a crossface. AZM locks in a double Fujiwara Armbar on both opponents then a a tower spot out of the corner, with Mone hitting the powerbomb, and everyone was down.

Mone hits a Lungblower on Hazuki, then one on AZM. Mone hit a 2nd rope Meteora double knee shot on AZM for a near fall. AZM hit a double stomp and got a near fall on Mone.

Mone & AZM traded mid ring forearm shots then Hazuki hits a springboard dropkick on both of them. Hazuki hit a series of forearms and Mone was dazed. Hazuki hit a lung blower to Mone’s chest then a top rope lung blower for a near fall but AZM made the save. Mone hits Mone Maker for the win.

Winner & Still Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone (13:53) (STILL CHAMPION!!!!)

After the match Miyu Iwatani got in the ring & she congratulated Mone on her win, but she vowed to win the Women’s Title on April 23rd. Mone responded by slapping Iwatani in the face, dropping her and Mone left the ring and headed to the back.

Television Title Match
Zack Sabre Jr (c) vs. Shota Umino

Zack Sabre Jr & Shota Umino charged at each other at the bell and immediately traded roll ups for near falls. ZSJ hits some European uppercuts, so Umino fired back with some too. Umino hit a dropkick on the left knee and he began targeting it.

ZSJ caught Umino with a cross armbreaker, but Umino reached the ropes. They got up and traded forearms. ZSJ hits a kick to the back. Umino hits a diving European uppercut to the jaw. Umino hit a northern lights suplex for a near fall. ZSJ applied a mid ring Dragon Sleeper, and he switched to a Cobra Clutch. Umino hit a swinging neckbreaker, then a side slam for a near fall. ZSJ applied a cross armbreaker but Umino reached the ropes. Umino got an O’Connor Roll for a near fall.

Umino hits a pop up European uppercut, then a running neckbreaker for a near fall. Umino hits an enzuigiri then ZSJ hits a running kick to the chest for a near fall. Umino set up for Death Rider but ZSJ escaped. Umino hits a tornado DDT, then the Death Rider for a nearf all so Umino hits another DDT. However, ZSJ immediately got a backslide for the win.

IWGP Tag Team Titles Match
Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & Yoshi Hashi) (c) vs. Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher)

Yoshi Hashi & Kyle Fletcher starts this match off then Mark Davis enters and hits a shoulder tackle. Yoshi Hashi hits Head Hunter on Davis. Davis dove through the ropes on Yoshi Hashi while Fletcher hit a moonsault off the top rope onto Hirooki Goto. Fletcher stood up and he has a cut on the left side of his head, near his ear in the ring, Davis hits a senton for a cocky cover and a near fall on Goto.

Goto hits a short arm clothesline and they were both down. Medics were putting a wrap on Fletcher’s head on the floor while Davis was getting beat up in the ring. Fletcher now has a wrap like a thick headband around his head. Davis hit a back suplex on Yoshi Hashi. Fletcher tags back in. Fletcher hits a half nelson suplex on Yoshi Hashi.

Fletcher hit an assisted stunner for a near fall. Yoshi Hashi hit a lungblower move on Fletcher. Goto made the hot tag and he hit a clothesline on Davis in the corner. Goto & Fletcher traded mid ring forearm shots, and Goto hits a clothesline. Goto hit a back suplex for a near fall. Goto hits his neckbreaker over his knee on Fletcher. Goto hits Shoto in the ropes on Fletcher.

Yoshi Hashi hits a superkick on Davis & Goto clotheslines Davis out of the ring. Bishamon set up for Shoto, but Fletcher escaped. Bishamon set up for Shoto again, but Davis blocks it. Fletcher hit a sit out powerbomb for a near fall. Aussie Open hits double team superkicks on Yoshi Hashi. They hit mid ring clotheslines on Bishamon then nails Korealis on Goto for the win.

Junior Heavyweight Title Match
Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs. Robbie Eagles

Hiromu Takahashi puts the Ron Miller Special on Eagles, and Eagles got to the ropes and bailed. Eagles hit a chop block to the back of Takahashi’s left leg from the apron to the floor. Eagles wraps the damaged leg through a guardrail on the floor, Takahashi whips Eagles into the guardrail.

In the ring Eagles was in charge as Takahashi was hobbling with that sore leg. Takahashi’s left knee was wrap but Eagles removed the wrap and kept targeting the knee. They traded chops. Eagles hit a running clothesline to the back of the head, and he applied a leglock, with Takahashi scrambling to reach the ropes.

Eagles hit a spin kick to the chest that dropped Takahashi. Eagles hit a dive through the ropes onto Takahashi with the back of Takahashi’s head hitting the guardrail. In the ring, Eagles hit a top rope missile dropkick on the knee.

Eagles locks in Ron Miller Special with Takahashi finally reaching the ropes. Eagles went for a top rope 450 Splash but Takahashi got his knees up. Takahashi hit a faceplant, and they were both down with Takahashi clutching at his sore knee. Eagles hits a back suplex then  Takahashi hits a German suplex then Eagles hits a back suplex then Takahashi hits a German suplex.

Takahashi hit a Death Valley Driver into the corner then Time Bomb for a near fall. Eagles hit a superkick Takahashi hits a superkick then a clothesline. They fought on the ropes in the corner and Eagles hit a top rope Poison Rana then a 450 Splash.

Eagles applied the Ron Miller Special again and he drags Takahashi back to the center of the ring, and Takahashi teased tapping out, but he got a rollup to escape. Hiromu hit a superkick. Eagles hits another kick to the knee that drops Takahashi. Takahashi hits a side slam for a near fall. Takahashi hits a clothesline then Time Bomb 2 for the win.

Winner & Still Junior Heavyweight Champion: Hiromu Takahashi (21:12) (STILL CHAMPION!!!!)

IWGP World Heavyweight Title Match
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. 2023 New Japan Cup Winner Sanada

Match starts off with some standing switches and a slow feeling out process then they went to the floor, where Okada whips Sanada into the guardrail and he kicks Sanada, sending him into the crowd. They kept fighting on the floor, with Sanada drops Okada on the floor as Okada barely got back in the ring before being counted out. In the ring, Sanada targeted the back of Okada’s neck. Sanada hit a back suplex with Okada clutching at his neck.

Okada got up and hits some forearm shots and a flapjack then hits a Mafia Kick, then a DDT for a near fall. Okada hits a dropkick as Sanada was on the ropes and Sanada tumbled to the floor. Okada peeled back the thin mat on the floor and he drops Sanada on it with Sanada barely got back in the ring before being counted out. Okada immediately locks in Money Clip. Sanada hit a missile dropkick, and they were both down. Sanada hits a dropkick.

Sanada hits a plancha to the floor then back in the ring, Sanada placed Okada’s feet on the ropes and hit a swinging neckbreaker. Okada went back to the Money Clip. Sanada hit a TKO stunner, and he locks in Skull End on the mat. Sanada went for a top rope moonsault but Okada got his knees up, and they were both down. Okada locks in Money Clip and he hit a high German suplex then he set up for the Rainmaker but Sanada blocks it.

Okada locks in Money Clip again on the mat & Okada hits a top rope elbow drop, then a dropkick then Landslide. Sanada avoids a Rainmaker and he hits his own Rainmaker, and they were both down. They traded forearm shots while on their knees, then while standing. Okada hits a shotgun dropkick then his regular dropkick. Okada went for a Rainmaker but Sanada hits a pop up stunner. Sanada hits a top rope moonsault then a 2nd one for a near fall.

Sanada sets up for Deadfall but Okada avoided it. Sanada got an O’Connor Roll for a near fall then Sanada nails a Shining Wizard. Sanada set up for Deadfall but Okada hits a side slam. Okada again tries to hit Rainmaker but Sanada hits Deadfall for the win.

Winner & New IWGP World Heavyweight Champion: Sanada (26:58) (NEW CHAMPION!!!!)

After the match Sanada got on the mic and said finally it was his time. Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi limped to ringside & he congratulated Sanada on the win & he said Sanada left LIJ and changed the world. Takahashi challenges Sanada to a IWGP World Heavyweight Title match! Sanada said there are other people you need to deal with 1st Yoshinobu Kanemaru got on the mic, and he challenged Takahashi for a Junior Heavyweight Title match & Takahashi agreed then he leaves and Sanada kept talking, thanking the crowd.
