WWE Makes Change To Extreme Rules Match

WWE has made a big change to a key match at the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV. Originally, there was supposed to be a multi-man match involving Bobby Lashley, Roman Reigns and other superstars at the show to find out who would be challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title next.

However, Kurt Angle revealed on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in San Diego, CA at the Valley View Casino Center on the USA Network that due to a snag in the contract for Lesnar next title defense, this match had been nixed. Now, Lashley will take on Reigns in a singles match at Extreme Rules.

The Extreme Rules pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the PPG Paints Arena and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown brands will be featured. Here is the updated card:

– Singles Match: Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley

– WWE Title Match: AJ Styles © vs. Rusev

– WWE Raw Women’s Title Match: Alexa Bliss © vs. Nia Jax
