Zack Sabre Jr. Reacts To His NJPW G1 Climax Day 7 Loss To Shota Umino

NJPW star Zack Sabre Jr. recently spoke with the company on a number of topics including his NJPW G1 Climax Day 7 loss to Shota Umino.

Sabre Jr. said, โ€œIโ€™m topping the block, but a little bit of adversity never hurt, did it?.โ€ โ€œIโ€™m the best technical wrestler in the world, so I donโ€™t need shortcuts. But [it] backfired. Iโ€™ll live and learn. I can still get 8-1, 8-1โ€™s a pretty good record. You better get through the block stage now, Shota. Otherwise, thatโ€™ll be very embarrassing.โ€

โ€œLosing sucks. Any self-help motivational speech about losing being good for you is a bunch of bollocks. Losing bloody sucks. But Iโ€™ve been here for. This is just gonna remind me, the G1โ€™s the hardest tournament in all of pro wrestling. The G1โ€™s the hardest tournament in all of pro wrestling for a reason.โ€
