The NWA championship is now vacant following the end of the Best of Seven Series between Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana. Cabana won the series but not the title. They announced before the bout that the NWA had ruled the bout was non-title. However, since Pearce lost, he announced he had promised to “leave the NWA” if he did not beat Cabana.
