Major League Wrestling (MLW) has announced that next month’s Azteca Lucha pay-per-view (PPV) will feature a three-way match between Místico, Templario, and Kwon.
MLW Azteca Lucha is scheduled for Saturday, May 10th, at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.

CHICAGO — Major League Wrestling (“MLW”) today announced Místico vs. Templario vs. Ikuro Kwon at MLW Azteca Lucha, live on YouTube from a sold out Cicero Stadium in Chicago on Saturday, May 10.

The match was originally slated as a one-on-one showdown between Místico and Templario — a clash set in motion at SuperFight 6, when Templario shocked the world by pinning Místico in tag team action, marking the lucha legend’s first loss since debuting in MLW. It was an unthinkable moment that sent shockwaves through the sport.
Originally scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, the rematch was postponed after Místico suffered an injury. Now medically cleared, Místico is ready for redemption — but the road back to the top just got far more dangerous.
At Battle RIOT VII, while Místico was publicly relinquishing the MLW World Middleweight Title due to injury, Ikuro Kwon of CONTRA Unit interrupted the announcement, mocking the wounded icon and igniting chaos. In a brazen act of defiance, Kwon spat his toxic mist into the face of MLW President César Durán, temporarily blinding him, then stole the vacated Middleweight title. Since then, CONTRA Unit has maintained physical possession of the belt, despite having no rightful claim to it.
Infuriated, Místico demanded to settle not only his grudge with Templario but also his score with the vile Kwon — and César Durán has granted his request.
Now, MLW Azteca Lucha will be headlined by a high-stakes triple threat match:
Místico vs. Templario vs. Ikuro Kwon.
Chicago will bear witness to a lucha libre dream match colliding with a nightmare from CONTRA Unit.
