Recently, PWMania.com reported that WWE NXT star Lexis King experienced an injury scare during an 8-Man Tag Team Match at a live event in Lakeland, Florida.
King took a knee to the head while competing alongside his teammates Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, and Uriah Connors. Fortunately, it was reported that King felt okay after the match.
According to Fightful Select, another competitor, Elio LeFleur, also went down during the bout and sustained an arm injury.
LeFleur was seen with his arm in a sling following the match. The severity of his injury is currently unknown, as is whether he will need to take time off. Due to the injury, he and his tag team partner, Eli Knight, were pulled from their scheduled match in the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament against The Culling.
Originally, Knight was set to team with Sean Legacy; however, Legacy revealed on last week’s show that he was injured, prompting LeFleur to step in.
Unfortunately, it later emerged that LeFleur had sustained his own injury.
