WWE NXT star Tony D’Angelo recently appeared on Busted Open Radio, where he discussed a range of topics. He mentioned that he is focused on pursuing the NXT Championship, but he would be content if he were called up to the main roster.
D’Angelo said, “I have all the confidence in myself right now. I think if I got the call tomorrow, I’d be just fine. It doesn’t hurt to hang on to the NXT Title for a little bit and kind of develop as the champion and being the guy on the brand. That could only help, but, yeah man, I don’t think I’m out of my realm getting called up at all really. I think I could hang with the best of ‘em.”
