WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart spoke with Dominic DeAngelo for Studio 1 Sports about several topics, including why he refused to take the Razor’s Edge, the finisher of fellow WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall.
Hart said, “His finish where he would do that, what we call the Razor’s Edge, and he would pick you up and drop you on your head. I remember I go, nobody is doing that to me, ever. I don’t care. And I would stand by that today. He goes, ‘Oh, don’t worry, I’ll set you down.’ I’m like, ‘Not on my f-ing head you’re not. No way. There’s no f-ing way. You’re 6’6 or something. You’re gonna fall backwards with me. The first thing that hits the ground is my head and my upper back.’ I said this doesn’t make any sense. It’s too dangerous, too stupid of a move for me to do. And I refused to do it, period.”
