Bandido is said to be suffering from a neck injury.

According to a new report from Wrestling Observer Radio, Bandido’s neck is hurting, but there’s no word on whether he’ll be taking any time off.

Bandido did not work last week’s AEW Dynamite in Seattle, but he did work the Elevation tapings, where he defeated Christopher Daniels in a match that aired last night. Bandido then defeated Black Taurus and AAA Mega Champion EL Hijo del Vikingo in a three-way match at PWG Battle of Los Angeles Night 1 on Saturday night, only to be defeated by Komander on Night 2.

During the loss to Komander, Bandido was hit with a double foot stomp from the top to the back of his shoulder/neck area. He immediately went down and grabbed the back of his head, and he seemed off for the rest of the match. He walked out of the match on his own with minor assistance, but he appeared to be in pain, as if he had a stinger or a concussion. He was later seen selling merchandise and posing for photos during intermission, but according to a fan in attendance, he was wearing a t-shirt wrapped around his neck.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Bandido appeared fine backstage after his match with Komander, but he awoke in pain the next morning.

There has been no official word on Bandido’s status for upcoming shows, but he is expected to play through the injury.

Bandido’s most recent AEW Dynamite match was a November 16 loss to Ethan Page. He’s worked three AAA matches, WrestleCade, the Elevation match with Daniels, and two PWG BOLA bouts since then.
