According to reports, AEW has more big changes in store for “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry.
Perry turned heel on FTW Champion Hook after losing to IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA on Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II pay-per-view. According to Fightful Select, one of the changes is that Perry will have a new theme song.
AEW President Tony Khan secured the rights to Baltimora’s “Tarzan Boy” single to use as Perry’s theme in 2021, which was a huge hit with fans and a significant piece of audience participation for AEW. Previously, Perry, Marko Stunt, and current AEW TNT Champion Luchasaurus used another theme from AEW’s Symphony Series II album.
It’s unclear when Perry will begin using the new theme song. He’s confirmed to be on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
