AEW star Komander has been absent from television for several weeks, leading to questions about his return to the ring.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Komander is currently sidelined due to an injury. While there is hope for his return soon, AEW has not provided a recovery timeline or a specific date for his comeback, nor have they disclosed the nature of his injury.
This is not the first time that Komander has missed AEW events this year. He previously faced visa issues that prevented him and The Beast Mortos from attending the ROH Supercard of Honor in May.
Known for his high-flying style and aerial offense, Komander has competed regularly in AEW, its sister company ROH, and CMLL. Although his last AEW match took place in September 2026, he remains listed on the official website’s main roster.
