According to Sean Ross Sapp and Corey Brennan from Fightful Select, Dani Luna requested her release from TNA Wrestling, and the company granted it this past weekend.
The reasons behind Luna’s request for her release remain unclear, but she is now a free agent and has parted ways with TNA without any reported ill will.
Luna made her TNA debut in June 2023 and officially signed with the company in December of that year. She teamed up with Jody Threat as part of the duo Spitfire, and together they achieved two reigns as the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions. They were also honored as Knockouts Tag Team of the Year at the 2024 TNA Year-End Awards.
In August, Luna turned heel following the split of Spitfire and subsequently feuded with Indi Hartwell throughout the last quarter of 2025. In addition to her work with TNA, Luna has competed in several independent promotions, including wXW, ATTACK! Pro Wrestling, and DEADLOCK Pro. She had a stint in WWE NXT UK in 2019 until the brand closed in 2021. Most recently, Luna faced Arianna Grace and Léi Yǐng Lee for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Sacrifice last Friday.
