PWMania has learned that indie star Chantal was injured at a recent NCG Wrestling event.

On June 28th, Chantal was competing in a triple threat match against NCG Wrestling Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard and Jody Threat at the promotion’s HEADSTRONG event in Leamington, Ontario. Early on in the bout, Chantal attempted a bulldog on Blanchard, but her nose hit the champion’s head, which caused profuse bleeding.

Chantal attempted to continue, but when Tessa hit a codebreaker on the wounded star, the blood flow from her nose intensified, and referee Chris Young threw up the X to indicate Chantal needed help.

After rolling out of the ring, Chantal was helped to the back to receive medical attention. The diagnosis was that she had a broken nose and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

With viewer discretion advised, you can see the extent of her injury here.

PWMania reached out to Chantal, and she informed us that her nose will need to be repositioned, which will occur in a few days. Chantal assured PWmania that she is “feeling much better”  and will return to in-ring competition in the very near future.

Everyone at PWMania wishes Chantal a very speedy recovery and hopes to see her back in the ring very soon.
