WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle appeared on Busted Open Radio to talk about a number of topics, including why he turned down an offer for a TV show to be made about his life.

Angle said, โ€œWhen my documentary came out, Hollywood came calling. I had a few different producers getting a hold of me and saying, โ€˜Hey, we want to make a movie out of your life.โ€™ I had one director, he was like, โ€˜Listen, I want to do a TV show. I want this to be the next Yellowstone.โ€™ Iโ€™m like, โ€˜Okay, what do you want in it?โ€™ Heโ€™s like, โ€˜I want everything.โ€™ I said, โ€˜Well, there are things my family members didnโ€™t, they donโ€™t want to bring back up. They donโ€™t want this to surface again. They donโ€™t want to relieve that anymore.โ€™ Thereโ€™s a lot of crazy stuff that happened in my family that I really didnโ€™t want to be aired on TV. I said, โ€˜Are you gonna add that stuff?โ€™ He said, โ€˜Everything. I want everything or I donโ€™t want nothing at all.โ€™ I said, โ€˜How about we just make a movie?โ€™ He said, โ€˜No, itโ€™s either a TV show or Iโ€™m not doing anything.โ€™ I was like, โ€˜Well, Iโ€™m sorry man. I respect the heck out of you, but I canโ€™t do a TV show then. Iโ€™ll try to find someone else who will do a movie.’โ€
