With Sasha Banks in WWE being a thing of the past, where could the future take Mercedes Mone?
According to a recent interview with TV Insider, the answer is an emphatic — ANYWHERE and quite possibly, EVERYWHERE.
The New Japan Pro Wrestling star recently spoke with the aforementioned media outlet for an interview, during which she teased the possibility of turning up in All Elite Wrestling, CMLL as well as IMPACT Wrestling, where she specifically mentioned Mickie James as someone she would like to share the ring with.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where she talks about this.
On confirming that she is a free agent, adding that she could turn up anywhere: “The thing is I’m a free agent. It doesn’t matter with New Japan. I can go anywhere. I can go to New Japan, IMPACT, Mexico, Germany, Europe. The potential matchups are endless. The same for New Japan. I know they have partnerships with CMLL, IMPACT, AEW.”
On wanting a match with Mickie James in IMPACT Wrestling: “To be a fan and watch all these match-ups from all parts of the world is amazing. I know there is a little woman in IMPACT I would love to face one day, Mickie James! We’ll see what is in the stars.”
