MVP has once again made his feelings about Paul “Triple H” Levesque clear while responding to criticism surrounding his podcast.
During a recent episode, MVP was asked about claims that the show relies on anti-Triple H “rage bait,” with critics suggesting episodes are built around him being bitter and repeatedly ranting about the WWE Chief Content Officer.
MVP dismissed that characterization, arguing that people who actually watch the show know it is not centered around Triple H.
“For those of you that are actually watching, you know that that’s just ridiculous.
And again, I keep repeating myself, but it boggles my mind how somebody can have all of these allegations and assertions and be so opinionated about a show they claim they’ve never watched.
It’s no secret that I don’t like Triple H, that I have zero respect for the dude. I say all the time he’s a spineless coward. And to back me up on that, dude, go on YouTube and look up videos of people who were his friends, who know him personally, that have said similar things.
Now, it’s all about the message, right? If I say it and you don’t like me, then I’m bitter and whatever. But when it comes from one of these wrestlers that you like, then it’s like, ‘Oh, yeah, you see?’ You know, perspective, depending on the messenger.
But we haven’t done a Triple H episode yet.
I’ve done this where I talk about, you know, ‘Screw that guy.’
But there has not been a single Triple H-based episode yet. Oh, it’s coming. Eventually, I’m going to tell you all about it, but no, not yet.”
While MVP acknowledged that he has openly criticized Triple H in the past, he emphasized that the podcast has yet to dedicate an entire episode to him.
That could eventually change, however, with MVP teasing that a Triple H-focused episode is coming and that he plans to share more about his issues with the WWE executive when the time comes.
