Nikki and Brie Bella took to social media Monday night to criticize WWE for not featuring “anything from the women’s evolution.”
Nikki stated that it is “because Sasha Banks is in it and we can’t. Mercedes is too over and we can’t say her name.” Mercedes Mone was featured in the show’s opening video package, but there was little female representation from previous talent.
In fact, Madusa/Alundra Blayze was the only female WWE Legend on RAW is XXX, appearing in the poker segments that aired from the backstage area. Nikki and Brie Bella were initially advertised for the show, but for unknown reasons, they were removed from the ads within the last week or so.
At the end of the video, Nikki said, “When you do what they don’t wanna do…”, implying something they or others may have done or not done to displease WWE management.
