Former WWE, WCW, and ECW star Perry Saturn has provided an update on his health after a recent hospitalization raised concerns among wrestling fans.

Saturn’s absence was initially addressed in a video uploaded to his official YouTube channel, featuring his podcast co-host and former WWE Superstar Maven. During the discussion, it was revealed that Saturn had been hospitalized, although details about his condition were not immediately provided.

In a subsequent video posted to the channel, Saturn explained that he had contracted COVID-19 for the third time despite having previously been vaccinated. He revealed that his latest bout with the virus was complicated by an upper respiratory infection, which contributed to his recent health difficulties.

The former WWE European Champion confirmed that the additional infection had been successfully treated, although he was still experiencing difficulty speaking while recording his update. He did not provide a specific timetable for when he expected to return to his usual activities.

Despite the health scare, Saturn maintained his sense of humor while discussing the reaction to his hospitalization. He joked that the way Maven and his co-host discussed his absence made the conversation sound more like a eulogy than a medical update.

According to Saturn, the discussion prompted several concerned family members and friends to contact him to make sure he was alright. He also joked that the attention generated by the video amounted to publicity he could not have paid for himself.

Saturn, who competed for ECW, WCW, and WWE during his wrestling career, remains a familiar name to fans of the late 1990s and early 2000s wrestling era. His latest update provides some reassurance following his hospitalization, although he continues to recover from the effects of his recent illness.
