PWMania.com previously reported that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was hospitalized after falling while leaving a restaurant and bar in his hometown of Tampa, Florida. Flair reportedly suffered cuts to his head and eye; however, he has since provided an update stating that he is okay and focusing on his recovery.
After being released from the hospital, Flair was seen at the bar, which led fans to question his health and express disbelief that he was still alive. In response, Flair took to his Twitter (X) account to address those concerns, referencing many challenges he has faced throughout his life and career.
Flair wrote, “The Question I Keep Getting Asked Is- How Am I Still Alive? After 5,000 Matches With 2,400 Of Them Being One Hour Draws And 5 90 Minute Bouts. Round Trip To Japan, 24 Hours, Only To Wrestle Three One Hour Draws. Airplane Crash, 31 Days In The ICU And 14 Days On Life Support. 35 Days In Rehab. And You Are Worried About Me Falling Down And Hitting My Eye? WTF.”
Flair stated on Wednesday that he would be “ready to go” after undergoing one more surgery and possibly needing another skin graft.
