A WWE NXT star appeared to suffered a serious injury during Wednesday night’s WWE NXT tapings at the Orlando Performance Center.
There are few details about the spot available, but fans at the taping say Ilja Dragunov appeared to land on his neck while wrestling Ridge Holland. He was stretchered out of the building.
Fans at the building say it was a terrifying situation with no indication that it was a work. Dragunov is set to defend his NXT Championship against Trick Williams at New Year’s Evil in a few weeks.
In an update, PWMania.com can confirm that Dragunov is fine, and is this is just a storyline angle.
