Backstage with Gia Miller:
Gia Miller asked Leon Slater about his match against Ryan Nemeth later tonight. Slater said that he was feeling pretty good. He criticized Nic Nemeth for sending Ryan to attack him last week and vowed to beat Ryan tonight.
Backstage:
Mila Moore was on the phone with Mustafa Ali when John Skyler walked over to make sure she was okay following Tasha Steelz going after her last week.
Skyler tried to ask her out again, but she had to leave when her “phone rang.”
TNA X-Division Championship Scramble Qualifying Match – Rich Swann w/BDE vs. LJ Cleary
The TNA X-Division Championship is currently vacant after Leon Slater chose Option C, giving him the opportunity to challenge for the TNA World Championship. A new X-Division Champion will now be crowned in a six-way Scramble Match at Bound For Glory.
RESULT: Rich Swann defeated LJ Cleary via pinfall with a Phoenix Splash.
Backstage:
Elijah told Ricky Sosa that they needed to send a message tonight.
Frankie Kazarian Promo:
Kazarian said he never thought Moose would put his career on the line. Frankie said Moose was passionate about TNA and had put the company on his back, adding that he would miss him.
Kazarian said Moose was entering the final chapter of his career and wished that Moose could be around to see Avary Styles’ career take off. Kazarian then thanked Moose for everything he had done for TNA.
Elijah & Ricky Sosa vs. The System (Eddie Edwards & Cedric Alexander) w/Alisha Edwards
During the match, Brian Myers and Bear Bronson appeared at ringside, but Elijah took them both out with a dive over the top rope.
RESULT: Elijah & Ricky Sosa defeated The System via pinfall after Sosa hit Cedric Alexander with a running uppercut.
After the match, Edwards attacked Sosa with a chair before dropping him with a package piledriver. Edwards then sat down on the chair and grabbed a microphone.
Edwards told Sosa that he had been wrestling longer than Sosa had been alive. He said that many people like Sosa had crossed his path over the years and they had all lost.
Edwards then challenged Sosa to a one-on-one match at Bound For Glory, giving Sosa the opportunity to prove that he belongs in TNA.
The Righteous Vignette:
The Righteous addressed BDE, saying that they believe he chose comfort over growth.
Vincent then challenged BDE and Rich Swann to a match, saying it would allow them to “grow the garden.” He also offered them the opportunity to choose any stipulation they wanted.
Leon Slater vs. Ryan Nemeth w/TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth
Leon Slater exercised Option C at Lockdown, setting up his TNA World Championship match against Nic Nemeth at Bound For Glory.
RESULT: Leon Slater defeated Ryan Nemeth via pinfall with a Swanton 450.
After the match, Nic attacked Slater from behind. Ryan grabbed a title belt and slid it to Nic, who used it to take out Slater. The Nemeths stood tall to end the segment.
Backstage:
John Skyler was carrying two roses as he prepared to once again ask Mila Moore out on a date.
Before he could approach her, however, he overheard Moore on the phone saying that Hotch asking her out must be a joke. A disappointed Skyler walked away.
Moose Promo:
Moose reflected on his TNA career and admitted that he might be making a mistake by putting his career on the line.
Moose said that Kazarian had never seen him at his best and declared that he would always be the face of the franchise.
Zoey Serrano vs. Harley Hudson
RESULT: Zoey Serrano defeated Harley Hudson via pinfall with the Hell and Back knee strike.
After the match, Daria Rae came out to congratulate Serrano before ordering her to finish Hudson.
Indi Hartwell appeared and ran Serrano off to save Hudson. Hartwell grabbed a microphone and asked Daria if she was going to keep doing this.
Hartwell declared that she and Hudson weren’t going anywhere. Daria disagreed.
Career On The Line – Moose vs. Frankie Kazarian w/Avary Styles
At Lockdown, Moose inadvertently helped Kazarian win their Escape the Cage Match by spearing him through the cage door. Moose entered tonight determined to prove that Kazarian had never truly beaten him.
RESULT: Moose defeated Frankie Kazarian via pinfall following two massive Spears, meaning Moose will remain part of the TNA roster.
After the match, Moose grabbed a chair and slid it into the ring. He then grabbed the crown Kazarian had been carrying around, placed it in the middle of the ring and smashed it with the chair.
Backstage:
Matt Hardy was shown lying unconscious on the floor. Two mysterious figures dressed in black appeared standing over Hardy before stepping out of frame.
