Last week, it was reported that the upcoming episode of WWE NXT, the post-Halloween Havoc show, is scheduled to air on Wednesday, November 4th, instead of its usual Tuesday night slot. This change is due to the midterm elections in the United States on Tuesday, which will put the show head-to-head with the “Blood & Guts” episode of AEW Dynamite.
WWE confirmed this schedule change during the go-home episode of NXT Halloween Havoc, with Vic Joseph announcing it on commentary, citing election coverage as the reason for the adjustment.
Additionally, it was confirmed that “The American Nightmare,” Cody Rhodes, will appear to present the trophy to the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The finals of this tournament are set to take place during next week’s episode, following the conclusion of the semifinals last night. Furthermore, 17-time World Champion John Cena is scheduled to appear, presumably to discuss the upcoming John Cena Classic.
WWE NXT will be held at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and will air on The CW and ESPN Unlimited in the U.S., as well as on Netflix internationally.
