WWE star Sol Ruca spoke with KRON 4’s The Finish about various topics, including a potential collaboration with WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion ZARIA.
Ruca said, “Possibly, I don’t know. You know, I do feel like I have a little bit of PTSD. I feel like every time I go out there I’m like, I don’t know if her music’s going to hit or not. I don’t know if she’s going to come back and come out to get me. You know, I am always down for second chances. I mean, I definitely have love for her still in my heart. Would love to be able to get back together and work things out. But you know, she did push me off the top of the perch onto some some tables, which was kind of mean. [laughs] Not very nice at all.”
On ZARIA’s current work in NXT:
“I think she’s absolutely killing it right now. I think space was probably the the best thing for us. And I hope that she continues to grow. I hope that she continues to evolve and essentially realize that I was not the bad guy in this whole situation. I wanted the best for her, I wanted the best for me. We’re both competitors — I wanted titles; she wanted titles. And I thought there was room for both of us, but she did not think so. So you know, hopefully her having the title and her seeing what it’s like to be a fighting champion can give her some perspective. But I mean, I would love to see her up on the main roster. I would love to be able to work with her again, if we’re friends or not. I think she’s an incredible competitor and I’m excited to see what she does in the future.”
