It’s WrestleMania week! Is everyone excited? It’s the time of year where we’re supposed to be excited about the showcase of the immortals, but I’m just not feeling it this year. Is it just me? I dunno. Thanks to those of you who read last week’s FATP comeback column about the state of WWE’s mid-card scene. I appreciate the feedback, good and bad! But that was last week. Where Does Jack Swagger Fit on the Road to WrestleMania?

When Jack Swagger debuted in WWE, it seemed like the former NCAA star was primed for success, being pushed right off the bat on the ECW brand with a six month long undefeated streak and winning the ECW World Heavyweight Championship just over five months after his debut. After a successful run in ECW, Swagger was moved to the Raw brand, where he’d win the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania XXVI, granting him a future World Title shot over the course of that year. “The All-American American”Read More

FATP: The Rock and the WWE Championship in 2013

It’s time for the latest edition of FATP. Today, I thought I’d take a look at the possible scenarios surrounding The Rock and the WWE Title in 2013. As much as everyone sh*ts on The Rock for only coming back part-time, the fact is that when he’s back, TV ratings and PPV buys spike. Nobody can blame him for moving on from wrestling. I guarantee that any other wrestler would’ve done the same if they’d have had the chance. Do I think he could’ve come back sooner? Yeah, but that’sRead More

WWE Raw General Manager AJ Lee recently spoke with Slam Wrestling. Here are some highlights: Changing roles and becoming GM: “Yeah, I mean, I think you have to grow up in the situation in which you are placed and with the responsibilities, you need to look the part. But I still wear bracelets and I don’t wear high heels, because that would be an injury waiting to happen! So it’s a little bit of both. I like to think that I can combine both worlds together.” Would she want toRead More

The new working idea was for Triple H is to remain out of action until WrestleMania 29 next year. It wasn’t known if that would be the date for the Brock Lesnar rematch or if WWE had scrapped the rematch altogether. It’s important to note that WrestleMania plans are always being worked on but the match theyRead More
