Adam Copeland Looks Ahead To Tonight’s WWE vs. AEW “Tuesday Night War”

Adam Copeland thinks WWE and AEW stacking the deck for their head-to-head showdown tonight is a good thing for all involved.

“The Rated-R Superstar” recently appeared as a guest on The Masked Man Show to promote his AEW in-ring debut at Dynamite: Title Tuesday tonight against Luchasaurus.

During the discussion, the former WWE Superstar known as Edge explained why WWE and AEW stacking the deck for tonight’s head-to-head showdown is a good thing.

“Who cares [if] โ€˜Iโ€™m only this guy, Iโ€™m only this guy.โ€™ This is awesome,” Copeland exclaimed. “How can you not enjoy the fact that both shows are trying to load up and trying to put the best show on imaginable? Thatโ€™s all I really care about. Iโ€™ll try to make sure that my part of the show is all killer, no filler. Thatโ€™s my only job.”

Copeland continued, “Iโ€™m sure both will get watched, when itโ€™s all said and done with DVR and however else it gets computed since everything with ratings is so antiquated. Itโ€™s fun. I remember flipping back and forth between Nitro and Raw. Thatโ€™s kind of what this is. I donโ€™t see that as a bad thing at all. I think itโ€™s great. The performers themselves, there is none of this weird tribalism. Within any industry, sure, there is competition, but Iโ€™m happy for those guys and theyโ€™re happy for us. When there are choices and there is another company that can push the other company, thatโ€™s when you get the best stuff.”
