WWE has already announced their departure from FOX and a five-year agreement to bring SmackDown back to the USA Network.

From 2016 to 2019, SmackDown aired on the USA Network before moving to FOX. This change will take effect in October 2024, and the blue brand will remain on the network until 2029.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that SmackDown will be broadcast live on the West Coast for the first time. The show’s premiere date is still unknown. It has previously aired on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

“One of the things that they did get, which is also going to be interesting, is that SmackDown will be live on the West Coast for the first time, I think, ever. I don’t think it’s ever been live on the West Coast. So it’s going to be airing from 5 to 7 on the West Coast. Whether it’s Friday night or another night remains to be seen,” Meltzer stated.
