WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman recently appeared on Logan Paulโ€™s podcast, where he shared his thoughts on how he would book Loganโ€™s career in WWE. Heyman emphasized the importance of long-term storytelling and outlined a multi-year vision for Loganโ€™s trajectory in the company.

โ€œIf the question is how I would book Logan Paul in 2025, my answer is I wouldnโ€™t book him just for 2025. My question would be, whoโ€™s Logan Paulโ€™s opponent for WrestleMania 42, which is in 2026, and more importantly, whoโ€™s Logan Paulโ€™s opponent in 2027, which is WrestleMania 43?โ€

Heyman elaborated on the value of backward planning in wrestling narratives:

โ€œIn an industry that has now enabled its fan base to embrace long-term storytelling, Iโ€™m capping you at 18 months. โ€˜Oh, whoโ€™s my opponent for 42? Thatโ€™s only 18 months from now. Whoโ€™s your opponent for 43?โ€™ And once we figure out who your opponent is for 43, letโ€™s back-tell that story.โ€

He shared insights into his creative process, emphasizing that every story starts with the final outcome in mind:

โ€œI never have written a script or answered an idea without knowing the final page. I write the final page first. Hereโ€™s the end. It may transition to something else, but hereโ€™s how this story ends. Now, how do we get there? How do we milk it? How do we tease them? Whatโ€™s the intrigue? What are the other charactersโ€™ dimensions that play off of this? How does this story affect all others?โ€

Heyman highlighted the importance of detailed planning and execution, referencing a recent example from The Bloodline storyline:

โ€œIf everything drives to this point, then you know the narrative that you want to tell. Making sure Solo never said โ€˜acknowledge meโ€™ before he said it in Madison Square Garden. Making sure heโ€™s never referred to as a Tribal Chief before. Making sure that all roads led to that moment, that 15-minute segment that engrossed everybody because everything since WrestleMania built to that moment.โ€

Heymanโ€™s comments reflect his renowned expertise in crafting compelling, long-term narratives in WWE, and his ideas for Logan Paulโ€™s future highlight the potential for the social media star to be a major player in the company for years to come.
