AEW announcer and Senior Advisor โ€œGood Oleโ€™ J.R.โ€ Jim Ross took to an episode of his โ€œGrilling Jrโ€ podcast to talk about a number of topics, including the AEW World Tag Team Title Match at Revolution.

Ross said, โ€œI think that The Hurt Syndicate kicks mortal ass and ends this thing. Theyโ€™re not going to work by the hour, as I have said. So, I think the champions will retain in a significant way.โ€

On the AEW International Championship Match between Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita:

โ€œI think itโ€™ll be a spectacular performance. And I think it will be a match where Kenny Omega wins. Iโ€™d love Takeshita. Heโ€™s just, heโ€™s a made man. Kenny needs to get back in the groove and give us some of the head-turners, like, โ€˜Wow, what was that?โ€™ โ€˜That was Kenny Omega, jeez. Heโ€™s really good.โ€™ Thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m thinking. Itโ€™ll be one of the matches of the night. But Omega gets his hand raised.โ€

On Toni Storm vs. Mariah May and Storm deserving an MVP award:

โ€œIf you had an MVP award to give to somebody in AEW right now for performances in recent weeks, it would overwhelmingly be given to Toni Storm. Sheโ€™s been the best performer I think in the company. And her young lady that sheโ€™s working with is right there with her, Mariah May. Mariah May has come out of nowhere, and sheโ€™s just here, and all of a sudden sheโ€™s a star. Thatโ€™s hard to do.โ€
