WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS – JUNE 6, 2025

“WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together” airs, narrated by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, to kick off tonight’s show, as it does before every show.

Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed Confronted By New Bloodline

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett welcome us to the show from the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, CA., as we see arrival shots of various WWE Superstars. The last of which are Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. They get an enormous reaction from the crowd.

The sustained roar continues as the camera follows them as they walk all the way through Gorilla position, pass through the curtain, and begin making their way down to the ring as we hear, “Burn it down!” The crowd sings along, loudly and intensely.

They settle inside the ring and the music dies down. The crowd chants for CM Punk and Rollins starts by saying he’s a visionary and revolutionary and tomorrow night, he’s going to take everything. He says he’ll have absolute power when he wins and will have control of the entire industry.

The crowd chants for Roman Reigns and Rollins says he’s on the island of irrelevancy but he’s here to deliver a message. Anyone who stands in their way, they will destroy. He talks about how they’ve already taken out Sami Zayn, CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

Rollins says he is the only one that cares about the fans out of those three and says no one can stop him. Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu from RAW make their way out to the ring, interrupting Rollins. Sikoa gets on the mic and asks Rollins what he means about whoever gets in their way, he will lay them out.

He asks about Rollins saying no one can stop them. He says they’re standing there now and says Rollins looks like he started his own bloodline. He asks Breakker if he’s supposed to be Jey Uso and asks Reed if he’s a knock off version of Sami Zayn.

He then tells Paul Heyman it’s been a while since he’s seen him. Sikoa wants to cut to the chase and says he will win at Money in the Bank and all the power Rollins talked about will be his instead. Rollins asks Sikoa if he’s threatened because Breakker is the future of the industry and Sikoa is not?

He asks if Sikoa is threatened by Reed., and then tells Sikoa to be threatened by his own family because it looks like Jacob Fatu is ready to turn on Sikoa. Rollins tries to get the ball rolling on Fatu turning on Sikoa and calls Fatu “Solo’s B*tch!”

Rollins says Sikoa has a lot of guts to interrupt him and then says he’s only worried about one Fatu in the ring and that’s Jacob. Sikoa takes his suit jacket off to fight and Breakker stands in front of Sikoa. Fatu stands in front of Sikoa and he stares down Breakker.

Jimmy Uso vs. JC Mateo

Rollins calls off his boys, and leaves the ring. Breakker and Fatu don’t lose eye contact. Jimmy Uso comes out of nowhere and attacks JC Mateo and sends Fatu out of the ring. Tessitore informs us that it will be Uso vs. Mateo when we return. We head to a commercial break.

From there, Uso goes for another Samoan Drop but misses and then chops Mateo in the corner. Uso comes off the top rope with a twisting splash and covers Mateo for two. Mateo takes down Uso and covers him for two. Uso kicks Mateo in the corner and then hits two superkicks and a spear.

Uso climbs the ropes and Sikoa distracts the ref and Fatu distracts Uso. Mateo goes to hit Uso who moves and Mateo takes out Fatu. Uso rolls up Mateo and gets the win. Once the match wraps up, Fatu and Mateo yell at each other. Mateo tells Sikoa his brother is the problem.

Back inside the Dignity Health Arena, we hear the radio screech and then the familiar sounds of LA Knight’s theme music. “The Mega Star” makes his way to the ring and settles inside. He grabs a microphone. Knight says it’s that time of the year again. It’s Money in the Bank Season.

You do a bit of math. This is his third year in a row being in Money in the Bank. Third time’s a charm, but he’s not satisfied with that because he looks at five guys. Penta, we like him. Andrade, we like him a little bit, too. But we have El Grande Americano and we get a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Knight says that “Dummy Number Two” is Solo Sikoa. He tells Solo he can drop him on his head one more time. But he thinks about “Dummy Number Three” Seth Rollins. He says Seth has been here, done that. But what Seth needs to understand is that there is nothing hotter than an LA Knight in LA.

She asks what time it is, and the crowd says “Tiffy Time” and suddenly Rhea Ripley comes out. Ripley tells Stratton she’s never been in a Money in the Bank Ladder match before because she’s never had to. She says while she may not be familiar with that experience she knows what it’s like to be champ and she misses that feeling.

Once the match wraps up, Andrade and Penta celebrate until Seth Rollins’ music hits to cut them off. Out he comes with Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman. The group proceed to beat them down for quite a while, with spears, stomps and Tsunamis (oh my!).

The show heads to another break on that note. When the show returns, we see that Seth, Bron, Bronson and Paul Heyman are still in the ring. Heyman says they don’t fear the future because they are the future. He says Seth told everyone before WrestleMania what the industry was becoming.

Seth told everyone what would happen at WrestleMania and it happened. Seth said he would get Roman out of the way and they did. Seth said that they would take CM Punk out and they did. Heyman says everything that Seth tells them is true, he calls Seth is the vanguard of the industry.

The fans boo and Heyman tells them they can boo all they want but Seth will become Mr. Money in the Bank. Heyman says when Seth wins, Seth will decide who, what, where and when. Heyman says Seth will win the title and he will propel the industry into a vision that he has.

Heyman says the greatest honor of his professional and personal life will be when he says “Ladies and gentleman, the reigning, defending…” and before he can finish, we hear the familiar sounds of Cody Rhodes’ theme music, and out comes “The American Nightmare.”

Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, John Cena & Logan Paul Under One Roof

Cody gets in the ring and Seth extends his arms, pushing Breakker and Reed back. Seth takes a step forward and Jey’s music hits. As Jey is walking through the crowd, Seth drops the microphone and he along with Heyman, Reed and Breakker leave the ring.

On that note, the show heads into a quick commercial break. When the show returns, Cody and Jey are in the ring. Cody asks them what they want to talk about. Talk about Money in the Bank, the Inuit Dome, Main Event Jey Uso, their opponents John Cena and Logan Paul.

Cody says Cena called him desperate. Fans chant “Let’s go Cena, Cena sucks”. He says seeing Cena standing next to Logann in 2025 is like Michael Hays standing next to the Hardy Boys. Talking about desperate, Cena doing what he did at WrestleMania after the career he had.

Their future is Cena taking the title home and then Logan taking the World Championship to the top. Logan Paul raises the World Championship in the air. Cena says the last real Champion and the moment maker, the one of one, the inevitable future face of WWE.

Cena tells the fans to humble themselves, the future World Heavyweight Champion, Logan Paul. The fans boo as he and Logan raise the two titles in the air. Cena grabs Cody and throws him back into the ring. He hits him with the AA. Logan grabs Jey and throws him into the ring.

Logan gets in the ring and he hits Jey with a right hand. The fans chant “We want Truth” and Cena tells them “You can’t handle the truth. Our truth is right here”. Cena says there is nothing anyone can do about it. Cena calls the fans hypocrites.

Cena says they’re chanting for truth but they are pathetic liars. An enormously loud “We want Truth!” chant breaks out again, evidence pointing to the fact that Cena should’ve avoided the cute pre-planned response he had in case Truth chants happened, and stuck to the script.

Why? Because the crowd is ignoring the final go-home hard sell for the main event of tomorrow night’s PLE. Cena tries getting things back on track, reminding fans one more time that winners write the history books. Cena says he and Paul will beat Cody and Jey tomorrow.

Cena continues by saying then he will retire the title with himself, while Paul will take the world title and carry the company into the future. Paul is the future champion, and he is the last real champion. The two pose with the titles high in the air as the show comes to a close. Thanks for joining us!
