WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is reportedly set to make her long-awaited return to WWE television very soon. According to WrestleVotes Radio, Stratus was originally scheduled to be featured on the June 13th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, with her return announcement and accompanying graphics scripted into the show before plans were ultimately pulled.
โWe are told the return of Trish Stratus is also right around the corner,โ the report stated. โThe announcement of her return was planned and scripted into the 6/13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. According to a source, the announcement and graphics were set to air before John Cenaโs second promo of the night.โ
While the segment was removed prior to broadcast, internal plans to bring Stratus back remain firmly in place. Sources indicate that her return will likely coincide with WWEโs upcoming Evolution premium live event, which is expected to focus exclusively on womenโs wrestling.
โWhile this plan was obviously scrapped, we are told the return is still on the books, with Stratus set to be part of the upcoming Evolution PLE.โ
Stratus last appeared for WWE during her high-profile run in 2023, including a standout heel turn and rivalry with Becky Lynch. With the company now preparing to relaunch the Evolution brand, Stratusโs involvement signals a major addition to the star power of the anticipated all-womenโs show.
