Pro wrestling legend and top TNA Wrestling star Frankie Kazarian recently announced on his Twitter (X) account that he fractured the first metacarpal in his right hand during a match against Bear Bronson on December 7, 2025.

The injury required surgery, which took place less than a month before a high-profile series of events for TNA. Despite this setback, Kazarian continued competing without missing any major appearances.

Kazarian wrote, “I wrestled the @ThisIsTNA on @AMC_TV premier World Title match & the Genesis Texas Death Match 29 days out of a surgically repaired fracture of the first metacarpal bone of my right hand. Suffered in my match against @bearbronsonBC It didn’t stop me then, it won’t stop me now.”

Just 29 days after surgery, Kazarian competed on the debut episode of iMPACT on AMC. He also participated in a violent Texas Death Match at TNA Genesis, despite his hand still healing and being held together with surgical hardware.

Kazarian acknowledged that working through pain is part of the job, something he prefers to manage privately. His injury did not prevent him from pursuing the TNA World Championship or performing on national television.

As the new year began, Kazarian held the title of TNA World Champion but later lost it to Mike Santana in Dallas. The former champion did not use his injury as an excuse; instead, he framed it as a reality of high-level wrestling that has persisted for decades. Despite facing numerous adversities, he continues to participate in major storylines and deliver strong performances when called upon.

Currently, Kazarian has not announced any downtime plans, indicating he intends to keep moving forward.
