According to Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer, last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS drew an average of 587,000 viewers and received a rating of 0.10 in the key 18-49 demographic. It’s important to note that these figures do not include viewership from HBO Max.
This represents a decrease of 10.79% from the previous week’s viewership of 658,000 and a decline of 28.57% from the previous week’s rating of 0.14 in the same demographic. This is the lowest rating in the key 18-49 demographic for Dynamite in eight weeks, since the June 24th episode.
Meltzer also mentioned that the show’s 34-minute overrun negatively impacted the overall numbers, as the first two hours averaged 617,000 viewers and achieved a rating of 0.11 in the key 18-49 demographic.
The episode was headlined by The Elite, comprising AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson, who faced off against the Don Callis Family, which included El Clon, Mark Davis, and Jake Doyle in a trios match.
