In the latest edition of the Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp addressed a fan’s question regarding the status of this year’s Continental Classic tournament. According to Sapp, AEW is still planning to hold the 2026 Continental Classic tournament around the same time each year, which means it will likely take place in November to December. With his victory at All In: London, Moxley remains the AEW Continental Champion.
Last year’s tournament was won by Moxley, who defeated Kazuchika Okada in the finals. Okada was the winner of the 2024 tournament, while Eddie Kingston won the inaugural AEW Continental Classic tournament, becoming the first Continental Champion.
