TNA Wrestling star Mustafa Ali has been sidelined from in-ring action since suffering fractured ribs and a punctured lung during the International Championship Steel Cage Match against Jason Hotch at last month’s Lockdown pay-per-view (PPV) event. Although Ali successfully regained the International Title, it was later announced that he would be out of action for the foreseeable future.
Recently, Ali took to his Twitter (X) account to share a video announcing his return. He is set to return to weekly programming on the September 24th episode of TNA iMPACT, which will air live from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.
In his post, Ali wrote, “I almost died.”
Earlier this month on iMPACT, a #1 Contender’s Match for Ali’s International Championship took place between Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch. However, the match ended in a no contest after Ali’s ally, Agent Zero, interfered and attacked both competitors.
