WWE’s partnership with SiriusXM appears to be delivering positive results, with the company’s dedicated wrestling radio channel experiencing a significant increase in listenership since its launch earlier this year.

During SiriusXM’s third-quarter earnings call on Thursday, October 29, CEO Jennifer Witz revealed that WWE Radio has recorded nearly 20% growth in listening since its July 2026 launch and rebrand.

The channel, previously known as Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7, underwent several programming changes as part of SiriusXM’s partnership with WWE. These included the introduction of WWE-produced content, audio broadcasts of the company’s weekly television shows, and dedicated coverage of premium live events.

“Sports is another powerful driver of fandom, uniting passionate communities around live programming and hometown teams,” Witz stated. “Listening to WWE Radio has grown nearly 20 percent since its July launch and rebrand, while monthly active sports listeners increased four percent year-over-year across our connected car and streaming platforms.”

Despite the rebranding, Busted Open Radio has remained the channel’s flagship program. WWE Radio also features WWE podcasts, audio simulcasts of RAW, SmackDown and NXT, and exclusive commentary during premium live events.

However, the transition has not been without controversy. Following the launch of WWE Radio, Busted Open discontinued its coverage of All Elite Wrestling, while AEW star Thunder Rosa was removed from the show’s rotating lineup of co-hosts.

Those changes drew criticism from some longtime listeners who had previously enjoyed the program’s coverage of multiple wrestling promotions. Although AEW is no longer featured, the channel continues to include occasional interviews and discussions involving talent from TNA Wrestling and the independent wrestling scene.

Busted Open host Dave LaGreca previously addressed concerns that the partnership could affect the program’s editorial independence. According to LaGreca, WWE President Nick Khan personally assured him that the company wanted the show to maintain its established approach rather than become what Khan described as “shill radio.”

Other personalities featured on WWE Radio include Sam Roberts and Peter Rosenberg, while NXT commentators Vic Joseph and Booker T provide dedicated commentary for WWE premium live events.

The reported increase in listenership represents an encouraging early result for the partnership, particularly as SiriusXM continues expanding its sports programming across streaming platforms and connected vehicles.

While the nearly 20% growth figure suggests that the rebrand has attracted additional listening activity, SiriusXM did not disclose specific WWE Radio audience totals during the earnings call.
