AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS – FEBRUARY 25, 2026
This week’s show starts off with straight-to-camera introductory messages from wrestlers scheduled for matches tonight. We then see a video package looking at the intense rivalry between FTR and The Young Bucks, including the attack on the parents of the tag-team stars.
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator
Jon Moxley (c) vs. El Clon
Inside the arena, the theme for Jon Moxley hits and out comes the leader of The Death Riders. He slaps hands with the other members of the group and then heads through the crowd with Marina Shafir behind him. Renee Paquette gets her Megan Olivi on, talking as he finishes his entrance for our opening contest, and briefly interviewing Shafir.
After the champ settles inside the squared circle, his music dies down. The lights go down, turn red and the entrance tune for his opponent hits to bring out El Clon. A loud “Moxley! Moxley!” chant spreads at the bell. One fan then manages to get a loud “F**k ’em up, Moxley, f**k ’em up!” chant spreading around.
Moxley takes the early offensive lead, stopping to throw the double birds at El Clon in the same way the masked man does his signature hand gesture for his ring entrance. The fight spills out to the floor, where Moxley bounces El Clon off the announce desk and delivers some more punishment before bringing things back in the ring.
Mox goes for a cover, but only gets a two-count. He backs El Clon in the corner and chops the hell out of him. The lively crowd chants “One more time!” and Mox happily obliges. The crowd pops and then El Clon begins fighting back with multiple chops of his own. El Clon climbs up on Mox in the corner and chokes him with the tag rope.
Shortly after that, the show shifts gears and settles into a mid-match commercial break, with El Clon moving into a comfortable offensive lead. The show returns and we see Mox slowly but surely begin to shift the offensive momentum back in his favor. Soon thereafter, he secures the win. No title shot for El Clon, like every other “eliminator” bout.
Winner: Jon Moxley
Swerve Strickland Explains His Actions & His Goals
We see video footage of Swerve Strickland’s heel turn and savage assault of Kenny Omega. We return live to Prince Nana talking trash to the commentary trio of Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness. He demands they get up and then introduces Swerve.
Out he comes to the commentary table where the fans cheer for him. He talks as if they hate him. “You don’t like when it happens to your favorites, huh?” From the sounds of it, they do. He gets them to boo him a bit. He then takes issue with Omega calling someone else the most dangerous man in AEW.
Swerve then talks about beating down Omega putting him in position for a title shot. He looks bad on a time where he wasn’t so nice, but recalls it being the most successful time of his career. He makes it clear he’s coming for the title and he tells everyone else in AEW, they can get taken down, too. He’ll make it clear he’s the most dangerous man in AEW.
Brody King Wants The Next Title Shot, Too
Backstage, Brody King is talking direct-to-camera in the interview zone. He takes exception to Swerve taking issue with someone calling him the most dangerous man in AEW. He vows to beat down Mark Davis later tonight and prove he is exactly that, and why he deserves the next shot at the AEW title. We head to a commercial.
Orange Cassidy vs. Gabe Kidd
The bell rings, as we are underway. Kidd goes right after Cassidy, punching him and then stomping him. Kidd chops Cassidy and then slams his head on the top turnbuckle. Kidd then tosses Cassidy across the ring. Cassidy gets up, as Kidd nails him in the face again.
Cassidy goes with a backslide then an inside cradle for a two count. Cassidy sends Kidd’s head to the turnbuckle…Cassidy is nailed in the jaw by Kidd and falls to the mat and rolls to the floor. The show heads to a mid-match commercial break on that note.
The show returns from the break and Cassidy fires up on offense. He does the hands in the pockets routine, but Kidd spits in his face and blasts him. He settles back into the lead, culminating with a jumping pile driver for the win. Cassidy is attacked afterwards in two-on-one fashion until Darby Allin runs out for the save.
Winner: Gabe Kidd
Thunder Rosa To Challenge For World Title Next Week
Backstage, Renee Paquette is with Thunder Rosa and Kris Statlander. We learn that Rosa will challenge Thekla for the women’s title next week on the show in El Paso, TX. Statlander warns Rosa to be careful. She pays the warning no-mind. Paquette asks Statlander why she said that. Statlander no-sold her and walked off.
Mansoor vs. Kevin Knight
Inside the arena, Kevin “The Jet” Knight is introduced for our next match of the evening. Already in the ring is his opponent, Mansoor. The bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running.
